Moraira, the fishing port of the municipality of Teulada, has become one of the most popular areas for those able to put a substantial investment into a holiday, or in many cases, a permanent home.
This quaint coastal town lies amid surrounding fruit and wine plantations and retains an old world charm, jealously guarded by the local community. The port has a thriving fishing fleet, and the area is blessed with an enormous variety of good restaurants, bars and shops. The large sports marina and yacht club is able to satisfy the tastes of an active sailing community.
Along its 8 kilometers of coastline there are fine, blue flag, sandy beaches like Portet and L’Ampolla plus many rocky coves, such as Andrago & Cap Blanc.

Villas and apartments are available close to the town or in and around the many villages situated in the foothills surrounding Moraira, Villages such as Benitachell, Benissa, Cumbre and La Fustera. In addition there are new developments at Sol Park and Alcalali, just over the hills into the Jalon Valley.
Access to Moraira from the rest of Europe is provided by the international airports of Alicante and Valencia, just 85km and 110km away respectively. The major coastal motorway, the A7 and the national route N332, pass within 12km of the town. Teulada is also served by the narrow gauge railway operating between Denia to the north, and Alicante to the South.
